We hope this summer has been enjoyable for you so far!
After a great deal of evaluation and contemplation, we, the Indies Collective, have chosen to not have an event at Pride Toronto this year.
~Night at the Indies~ is all about inclusion and access. While the ban against QAIA has been rescinded, there is still a great deal of work to be done to include local independent artists, community groups and activists - without which, Pride would not exist in the first place.
We encourage everyone to sign the Pride Community Contract pridecommunitycontract.wordpress.com/ as it is in line with our values.
To all of you who have been supportive to Indies events - a BIG THANK YOU and we look forward to seeing everyone at Nuit Blanche!
