~Night at the Indies~ Toronto - Rico RodriguezRico Rodriguez

Rico Rodriguez is a teacher, storyteller, a percussionist and a workshop designer and facilitator. He was also a Youth Counsellor for at-risk youth with the Toronto District School Board. As a storyteller he tells folktales, fairytales, fables and legends from the rich and diverse Latino and Hispanic cultures and also from the around the world. He writes and tells stories about his life and his family and writes and tells fictional tales as well. He has performed in schools, daycares, theatres, public libraries, festivals, pubs and conferences throughout Canada and the U.S. He has been heard on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's (CBC) radio on National Public Radio in the U.S. and seen on MuchMusic.


~Night at the Indies~ Toronto - I Do. Do I? I Do. Do I?

This film is a 30min narrative short. It falls under Comedy/Romance genre. The Film has been directed by Lily Ahluwalia. The story and screenplay has been written by Jay Walia and the music has been composed by Vikas Kohli from Fatlabs. CAST: Sid Sawant as RAJ, Uppekha Jain as PRIYA, Shivali Sikka as REEMA, Farid Yazdani as JAY, Andrew Ahmed as RAYMOND, Kiran Mander as KIRAN.

We are a three person sketch comedy group that has recently formed to rock your socks off with laughter. We are multicultural in our heritage and will touch on these subjects and much more. The group includes Tristan Tsuji, Amy Slattery and Jason Morneau.

Cozmic Cat has been in the biz for over 10 yrs and has rocked dance floors from the US to Australia with her funky blend of mashups, remixes and tight skills. This Canadian DJ and Producer was voted Philadelphia's fav DJ 5 years runnning. Back in Canada, Cozmic Cat is Co-founder of Toronto's most popular girl party Cherry Bomb.

~Night at the Indies~ Vancouver is taking the summer off.

There will be no Night at the Indies in July and August but we will be back on September 16 bigger and better than ever. We are also looking for more people to get involved in our collective.
