Devotion - the film
Alice is lost in the chaos of her mother's death and her father's alcoholism. Will she find her way?
Alice, a bi-racial eleven-year-old girl, has recently lost her mother in a car accident due to her father's drunk driving. As father and daughter begin a new life, Alice is haunted by nightmares and memories of her mother's death, and the new woman in her father's life. Alice's identification with her mother who was white, and reluctant forgiveness of her father, who is black, forms the heart of this bi-racial coming of age story. DEVOTION marks the feature debut of writer/director Dawn Wilkinson and introduces Jasmine Richards in a remarkable performance as Alice.

Think Peace
For six days in June of 2006 in Vancouver Canada, 5000 delegates mobilized from 90 countries to do no less than revise the paradigm of peace and take the steps necessary to create a world without war.
A group of citizen journalists and filmmakers attended the event to seek out credible voices that could describe the challenges facing the world's largest ever social movement. The result was over 120 hours of footage featuring interviews with politicians, scientists, activists, thinkers, musicians and everyday people.
The many streams of thought that shape the modern day peace movement inform the tones of this film. Structured as a sequence of vignettes, the diverse narrative challenges the viewer to discover the common threads between current global issues for themselves. After all, peace must start within.
